Forgive the email out of the blue but I just wanted to let you know about a couple of David Hockney themed events that we are hosting at Salts Mill on Sunday July 7th with the Bradford Literature Festival. I thought they may be of interest to your members.
The first is a Hockney-inspired specialist workshop for iPencil and Procreate, lead by Mark Hampson, Head of Fine Art Processes at the Royal Academy:

The second is a talk on Hockney’s use of light, with Mr Hampson and Helen Whittaker who was the lead artist on the Hockney stained glass window at Westminster Abbey:

You can book online through the literature festival website above or buy tickets in person at Salts Mill. There are plenty of tickets left for the talk but the workshop is selling very fast as it’s such a fantastic (albeit highly specialised) opportunity.
Yours with many thanks,
Sue
